Netta OR Soprano
Netta Or was born in Israel, she studied at the Music High School in Cologne with Prof.
Leisenheimer and joined master classes of Kurt Moll and Joan Dorneman, already with ten
years she sang smaller roles like 1° Knabe in „Zauberflöte“ and appeared in „Macbeth“ at the
theatre of
Aachen. First guest contracts brought her to the theatre in
Bonn as Serpina in
„Serva Padrona“ by Pergolesi, to
Montepulciano as Despina and to
Hagen for „Hänsel und
Gretel“. Till 2009 she was engaged in
Düsseldorf, where she was heard as Zerlina, Musette,
Marzelline, Nuri, Gretel, Donna Elvira, Konstanze and Adina.
She sang concerts at the Schlosskonzert in
Brühl, in
Bayreuth, at Festspielhaus
St.
Pölten, in
Nurnberg baroque concerts with Mo.
Märkl, in
Bonn „Messias“, in
Cologne and Paris
„Johannespassion“ and in
San Sebastian Mozart concerts.
She sang in
Karlsruhe Alceste in Händel’s pasticcio „Die Plagen“, in
Cologne and at Théâtre
des Champs Elysées in
Paris „Johannespassion“, in
Potsdam Aspasia in „Orfeo“ of Graun,
Iöle in „Hercules“ by Händel, in
Göttingen Händel’s „Jephta“, in
Utrecht Graun’s „Orfeo“
and in
Klagenfurt and
Kassel „Italiana in Algeri“.
Netta Or made her successful debut as Aspasia in „Mitridate“ at the Festival in
Salzburg with
Mo.
Minkowski, she got engaged by the Festival in
Schwetzingen for Scarlatti’s „Telemaco“
with Mo.
Hengelbrock, by
Dublin for Rosemene in Händel’s „Imeneo“ and by
Madrid and
Bremen for „Mitridate“. She sang her first Donna Anna at Festival
Klosterneuburg/Vienna
(with new contract for 2011 as Countess in „Nozze di Figaro“), a role she sang also in
Düsseldorf and
Amsterdam, as Donna Elvira she was heard in
Essen and with „Mitridate“ in
Budapest.
2009/2010 she sang Fulvia in Händel’s “Ezio“ at the Festival in
Schwetzingen (
Cremonesi Krämer), Fiordiligi in
St.
Gallen, Donna Anna in
Leipzig and
Singapore, „Johannespassion“
in
Hannover, „Faramondo“ (Händel) in
Paris as well as concerts with the ensemble
Mattheus with Mo.
Spinos, „Stabat Mater“ by Pergolesi with Mo.
Cremonesi in
Den Haag and
Amsterdam. 2011 she was singing Bach/Pergolesi concerts in
Milan, Musette in
Verbier, Countess in
„Nozze di Figaro“ in
Klosterneuburg/Vienna, Pergolesi’s „Stabat Mater“ in
Amsterdam,
„Messa Cecilia“ of Scarlati in
Ascona and „Messias“ with Mo.
Dantone in
Ravenna and
Amsterdam.
2011/12 she is singing „Romolo ed Ersilla“ of Hasse in
Innsbruck, Adele in
Nancy,
„Temistocle“ at the „Mozartwochen“ in
Mannheim and
Schwetzingen, she makes her debut
as Violetta in a „Traviata“ production in
Coburg, where she is singing in summer 2012 also
Donna Anna.
2012/13 she will be heard as Alcina in
Stuttgart, as Konstanze at Volksoper
Vienna, as
Foleville in “Viaggio a Reims” in
Hannover, with Carmina Burana in
Cologne, as Rosalinde
in
Salzburg and
Essen, 2013/14 she will sing Donna Anna in
St. Gallen, "Il Battista"
(Caldera) in
Cologne, Giovanna d'Arco in
Bielefeld and in summer 2014 "Leocippo" from
Hasse at Festival in
Schwetzingen, 2014/15 she will be heard as Konstanze in
St. Gallen.
