KIP DEVILLE tucked in along the rail on the first turn, settled along the inside while well placed along the backstretch, edged a bit closer while saving ground on the turn, split horses while rallying at the three-sixteenths pole, charged to the frontinside the furlong marker and drew clear under a vigorous hand ride. EXCELLENT ART (GB) was unhurried while racing behindhorses in the five path along the backstretch, continued wide while launching his bid on the turn, rapidly closed the gap in upperstretch, lugged in nearing the furlong marker then finished well from outside to best the others. COSMONAUT sprinted clear inthe early stages, raced uncontested on the lead to the far turn, dug in when challenged on the turn, fought gamely intomidstretch then yielded grudgingly. NOBIZ LIKE SHOBIZ was unhurried for a half mile, unleashed a steady four wide movenearing the quarter pole, lodged a bid to threaten at the top of the stretch then flattened out a bit in the late stages. HOST (CHI)broke awkwardly and was taken back soon after the start, trailed for six furlongs, circled eight wide entering the stretch andrallied belatedly. TRIPPI'S STORM steadied sharply in traffic on the first turn, raced in traffic along the backstretch, steadiedbehind horses while lacking room on the turn, angled out at the top of the stretch and finished well too late to threaten theleaders. REMARKABLE NEWS (VEN) chased the pace three wide to the turn and steadily tired thereafter. REBELLION (GB)steadied while lacking room on the first turn, raced in traffic on the backstretch, steadied while lacking room midway on theturn, angled five wide at the quarter pole and lacked a strong closing response. ICY ATLANTIC was outrun while saving ground, swung six wide at the quarter pole and failed to menace. JEREMY checked early, steadied in tight on the first turn, savedground along the backstretch, steadied while lacking room on the turn and failed to threaten thereafter. PURIM chased threewide to the turn and tired. SILENT NAME (JPN) raced in traffic between horses for six furlongs and gave way.
