A. General

Agricorp will pay an establishment indemnity, where it is agreed by Agricorp and the Insured, that as a result of an insured peril, the insured crop fails to establish a ginseng seedling stand by August 31 of the calendar year following the year of seeding. The amount of indemnity payable will be determined in accordance with the Contract including, but not limited to, all limitations on insurable acreage or insurable crops, deductibles, and any other restriction on the amount payable, and on the basis of the applicable coverage level. Failure to notify Agricorp of any loss or damage will result in loss of right to any claim under this Contract in respect of such loss or damage. Insured must obtain written permission from Agricorp before destroying any damaged acres for this indemnity to apply. Agricorp will map the destroyed acres before paying a claim. Failure to notify Agricorp in writing prior to the destruction of the crop shall result in any claim being denied. The indemnity is payable only if a minimum of 0.5 acres of the Insured’s insurable crop under this Part have failed to establish a ginseng seedling stand. H. Deductible
An indemnity payable under this Part is reduced by a deductible, in accordance with the Contract, for the period that the indemnity is payable. The deductible is a percentage of the insured acres. I. Exclusions
This Part covers only ginseng seedlings and does not cover ginseng plants that were planted before the year of seeding. Damage to shade structures is not insurable under this Part. J. Cancellation
For the purpose of clause L.2 of Part I of the Contract, the cancellation date for ginseng seedlings is August 1 of the year of seeding. The Contract of Insurance Terms and Conditions are available by calling 1-888-247-4999 or by visitin 2014 Contract of Insurance: Terms and Conditions - Part XIV.
