Scientific Work in Progress Tamoxifen rescues planaria from the toxic effects of xenoestrogens. This work involves 6 undergraduates and wil be presented in poster form later this year. Effects of Vinclozalin and Tertbutyltin on planarian development & regeneration. This work involves two undergraduate and one graduate student and wil be presented in poster form later this year. Evidence of a role for estrogen in planarian development & regeneration. This work involves four undergraduate students and wil be presented in poster form later this year. Biogeneic electric fields in wounded and regenerating planaria. This is a col aboration between myself and Dr Halpern in the department of Physics. It also involves one graduate student and an Intel Science & Engineering Fair student from Rondout Val ey High School. It wil be presented in one or more posters later this year. Undergraduate attitudes & beliefs about science and evolution. This work stems from surveying undergraduate non-biology major students in the Evolution for Everyone (Bio 135) course. It involves 2 graduate students. It wil be presented in poster form later this year.
