GENERAL INFORMATIONIn case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show label where possible). INHALATIONMove the exposed person to fresh air at once. For breathing difficulties oxygen may be necessary. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues. INGESTIONDO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Rinse mouth thoroughly. Drink plenty of water. NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR DRINK FLUIDS! If vomiting occurs, keep head low so that stomach content doesn't get into the lungs. Get medical attention immediately!SKIN CONTACTRemove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with soap and water. Contact physician if irritation continues. EYE CONTACTPromptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention. Contact physician if irritation persists.
EXTINGUISHING MEDIAFire can be extinguished using: Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry chemicals. Foam. Water spray. SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURESAvoid breathing fire vapours. Keep up-wind to avoid fumes. SPECIFIC HAZARDSIn case of fire, toxic gases may be formed.
PROTECTIVE MEASURES IN FIRESelf contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONSProvide adequate ventilation. Do not smoke, use open fire or other sources of ignition. Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of inadequate ventilation, use respiratory protection. ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONSDo not discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground. Spillages or uncontrolled discharges into watercourses must be IMMEDIATELY alerted to the Environmental Agency or other appropriate regulatory body. SPILL CLEAN UP METHODSAbsorb spillage with non-combustible, absorbent material. Transfer to a container for disposal. Containers with collected spillage must be properly labelled with correct contents and hazard symbol.
USAGE PRECAUTIONSProvide good ventilation. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Handle and open container with care. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product. Good personal hygiene is necessary. Wash hands and contaminated areas with water and soap before leaving the work site. STORAGE PRECAUTIONSStore in tightly closed original container in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame.
PROCESS CONDITIONSProvide eyewash, quick drench. ENGINEERING MEASURESProvide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation. RESPIRATORY EQUIPMENTIf ventilation is insufficient, suitable respiratory protection must be provided. HAND PROTECTIONUse protective gloves. Chemical resistant gloves required for prolonged or repeated contact. EYE PROTECTIONWear approved safety goggles. OTHER PROTECTIONWear appropriate clothing to prevent any possibility of skin contact. HYGIENE MEASURESKeep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Wash at the end of each work shift and before eating, smoking and using the toilet. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
